The Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, is organizing a two-week Training Program on “Aerosols and Climate” from 07 to 18 December 2026. The program will provide participants with an understanding of aerosols and their significant influence on the Earth–atmosphere system and regional and global climate.
The program will feature lectures by eminent scientists and experts, along with practical and tutorial sessions covering aerosol science, atmospheric scattering, radiative transfer, aerosol instrumentation, and satellite remote sensing. The program is open to postgraduate and PhD students from recognized institutions. There is no registration fee, and accommodation and local logistics will be provided.
