Prof Madhavi Latha receives International Geosynthetics Society award

Congratulations to Prof Madhavi Latha on receiving the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) award for inventing a new product “Geocell Anchor Cage (GAC)”. Falling in the Product and Technique category, the award recognises her contribution to the development and use of geotextiles, geomembranes, related products, or associated technologies through scientific and technological achievements in the period 2022 to 2026. The award was presented on 15th September 2026 at the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics in Montreal, Canada.
