Abstract :

An academic at heart who became an entrepreneur through a series of coincidences, he started his venture as a ‘Make in India’ experiment fourteen years ago. It has now grown into a provider of Cloud Managed Secure Wi-Fi solutions for the global market. The journey of last 14+ years has been a non-stop roller coaster ride – intense at times and yet highly enjoyable. In this retrospective talk, he’ll talk about ‘joys’ & ‘challenges’ of building a globally competitive tech start-up from India. Through a series of real life stories, he’ll share his insights on cultivating Silicon Valley style innovation culture and winning attitude. He’ll also talk about systemic, cultural and social barriers which stop us from unlocking full entrepreneurial potential of the young generation.
