The Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Karnataka Forest Department, is organizing a Two Weeks Training Program on “Climate Change and Forests: An Interactive Approach to Science and Governance” from 5–16 October 2026. The program is designed to provide participants with an interdisciplinary understanding of climate change, forest ecosystems, and governance through lectures, discussions, and field-based learning.
The training program invites professionals from the Forest Department, researchers, academicians, and other eligible participants interested in climate change, forest conservation, and environmental governance to apply. The program offers an opportunity to interact with leading IISc faculty, eminent scientists, and senior forest officers while gaining hands-on field experience.
